Jaclyn Chen, SPT
Physical Therapist Intern
Samuel Merritt University, Oakland
Jaclyn is a physical therapy intern from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, Ca. As a local Fremont resident herself, she is familiar with the Fremont community and its people. She appreciates an active lifestyle and was originally introduced to physical therapy from her personal experiences after an injury from a car accident. Jaclyn enjoys the physical therapy culture because of its promotion of a healthy and activity lifestyle and the empowerment of patients to learn how to care for their musculoskeletal and movement health.
Doctorate students of Samuel Merritt University combine foundational, applied, and social science curriculum to promote a holistic approach to care. Patients of Jaclyn’s can expect patient-centered care using evidence-informed practice and an integration of the most up-to-date research and hand-on experiences gained from physical therapy laboratories, SMU’s Health Science Simulation Center, and the Motion Analysis Research Center.
