Wrist/Hand Therapy
Rehabilitation for people with pain/injury of the elbow, wrist, and hand including fractures, tendinitis, and surgical repairs of tendons and nerves.
Elbow, wrist and hand injuries may often occur due to repetitive overuse from our work activities and/or an isolated event that causes injury. Our plan of care consists of improving range of motion, restoring strength, and body mechanic training to reduce overuse of your wrist/hand in order to reduce excessive strain. In doing this, physical therapy can restore your ability to move and use your elbow/wrist/hand again for better functional use. Also, we always provide a comprehensive upper body screening to screen out potential contribution of symptoms from the spine to ensure we identify the likely source of pain.
