Student Physical Therapist
Hieu has always loved exercising and helping others from an early age which naturally led to his academic career towards physical therapy. A SoCal native, he attended Long Beach State where he earned a degree in Kinesiology and is currently starting his final year as a physical therapist student at Chapman University. While at Chapman, he has enjoyed working with patients through community exercise programs and programs such as Balanced Families and Stroke Boot Camp which focus on children and adults with neuromuscular conditions. He is looking forward to learning more about sports-based physical therapy here with us at ESPT!
Having a passion for martial arts and lion dance, Hieu holds the role as head instructor of Orange County’s Yee Ying Tong Dragon & Lion Dance Association which he co-founded in 2014. In his free time he also enjoys lifting weights, going on foodie adventures with his girlfriend for their foodie IG, and attending music concerts or festivals on the rare weekends that he isn’t studying.
